Background
Lindo is an Australia-based provider of medical disinfection solutions specializing in antimicrobial blue light (aBL) technology, delivering continuous and reliable disinfection systems for hospitals, aged-care facilities, public environments, and transportation settings that require high hygiene standards. As part of its preparation for future airborne medical transport systems, Lindo commissioned a precision helicopter display model to communicate its vision. Mastars supported this initiative with engineering execution suited for small, accurate, presentation-grade models.

A detailed scale model of the medical transport helicopter featuring multi-part 3D-printed shells and reinforced internal structures to ensure dimensional accuracy.
The Challenge
The model required multiple complex steps: multi-part 3D-printed shells, internal reinforcement, structural filling, precision hand-finishing, three-stage coating, and clean integration of lighting elements. Small-scale models amplify every tolerance issue, making surface alignment, edge sharpness, and paint consistency far more demanding than full-size parts.

The interior module showcases precise assembly, hand-finished surfaces, and tight-tolerance fitting-highlighting how small-scale models require higher craftsmanship than full-size components.
Mastars Solution
Mastars delivered a controlled, time-reliable process: calibrated 3D-printed segments, rigid joining structures, manual refinement for surface accuracy, and repeatable paint workflow to achieve a uniform finish. Lighting components were installed after final verification to avoid interference and ensure clean visual quality. The result meets Lindo’s display standards within the agreed schedule.
