Smart Highway

Yanchong Expressway and Songyan Road, a key route, will be built into smart highways. Yanchong Expressway adopts intelligent means such as Beidou precise positioning, road monitoring, vehicle-road coordination integration, and digitization of infrastructure to guarantee the safety and management of the entire expressway.


Songyan Road adopts an ice and snow warning system. Once snowfall occurs, the meteorological detection sensor can quickly judge the temperature, humidity, snow and ice on the ground through high-precision laser and radar sensors, and transmit it back to the information platform in real time, notify the relevant departments to deal with it in time. In addition, the pavement asphalt is also mixed with ice and snow melting materials, which absorb heat and store energy at ordinary times, and release heat when the temperature is low, so that the pavement and the snow layer will not form an ice surface and enhance the safe passage in snowy weather.
