In terms of industrial manufacturing, rapid prototyping, sheet metal prototyping, 3D printing, precision manufacturing, precision CNC machining, high-precision molds, die casting, vacuum casting and other technical processes are used to achieve all-round rapid prototyping and production of high-precision products. Precision is one of the important indexes to test the machining performance of CNC machining centers. Machining precision and machining error have a great impact on the quality of workpieces, so how to ensure product precision in mass production of CNC machining centers?
At present, the more common machining method in the CNC processing industry is the trial cutting method. The trial cutting method is through trial cutting - measuring size - adjusting the cutting tool feed - cutting tool - trial cutting, and so on until the desired size is achieved. This method can ensure that the error is within a reasonable control range, but it is cumbersome and the production efficiency is not high, and it is mainly used for small batch production of a single piece.
In large-scale automatic production, CNC machining centers can obtain the required size by pre-adjusting the relative positions of the machine tool, fixture, workpiece and tool to ensure batch machining precision. To ensure the precision of products when machining workpieces in large quantities, the following adjustments must be made:
1. Control the thermal deformation of the process
The CNC machining center is a high-speed cutting processing equipment, and a large amount of heat will be generated during the processing. The heat generation of the heat source should be reduced and the heat source should be isolated, besides, the heat treatment process to eliminate internal stress should be increased.
2. Reduce the transmission error of the transmission chain
The transmission system should keep the principle of less transmission parts, short transmission chain and high transmission precision. The use of deceleration transmission is an important way to ensure transmission precision, and the closer to the end of the transmission pair, the smaller the transmission ratio should be; the precision of the end parts should be higher than other transmission parts.
3. Reduce tool wear
The machining tool should be re-sharpened before the sharp wear stage, and the special cutting oil should be used for full lubrication. The material of the tool should meet the process requirements.
4. Improve the rotation precision of the bearing
High-precision rolling bearings, multi-oil wedge dynamic bearings, and hydrostatic bearings can be selected. At the same time, improve the precision of bearing accessories, such as improving the machining precision of box support holes and spindle journals, so that the spindle rotation precision is not reflected on the workpiece.
The size of the machining error reflects the level of machining precision. The greater the error is, the lower the machining precision will be. The smaller the error is, the higher the machining precision will be. In order to ensure the precision of the workpiece, the machining error must be reduced. The above four steps can achieve precision control in the mass production of CNC machining centers, so as to control the machining errors within a reasonable range.
