Mastars is an expert in CNC machining , Mastars makes prototypings for hundreds of well-known companies around the world, and CNC is a commonly used processing technology. When making a rapid prototyping, you can choose according to the properties of the material.

In addition to metal materials, high-precision CNC machining services are also compatible with a variety of plastics. The most widely used plastic materials are as follows:

CNC machining with plastic material

PVC

PVC is very hard. It has good mechanical properties and excellent dielectric properties. But PVC has poor solubility and poor stability to light and heat.

Nylon
General-purpose nylons are generally easy to process and has moderate flame retardant properties. The most common applications for CNC machined nylon are insulators, bearings, and plastic products used in injection molds.

PEEK

It is a plastic with excellent machinability, excellent stability and impact strength. In addition, this tough plastic has enough impact resistance to make it the material of choice for testing sockets, switches, connectors and other applications.

ABS plastic sheet

It is currently the largest and most widely used polymer. It has excellent impact strength, good dimensional stability, good dyeing, molding and machining properties, high mechanical strength, high stiffness, low water absorption, good corrosion resistance, simple connection, non-toxic and tasteless, and has excellent Chemical properties and electrical insulation properties. It is heat-resistant and non-deformable, and is also a hard material that is not easily scratched and deformed.

PP

The chemical name is polypropylene, which is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic; it has high impact resistance, strong mechanical properties, and is resistant to various organic solvents and acid and alkali corrosion. It has a wide range of applications in industry and is one of the common polymer materials.

PMMA
It is commonly known as plexiglass, its chemical name is polymethyl methacrylate. Plexiglass is also called acrylic. It has the advantages of good transparency, chemical stability, mechanical properties and weather resistance, easy to dye, easy to process, and beautiful appearance.

Mastars:
Different materials have different properties. In practical applications, in order to achieve the best performance of the product and the most reasonable cost, it is very important to choose the material accurately. Mastars is an expert in CNC machining, with more than 20 years of industry experience, making rapid prototyping for major companies around the world, as well as mass production, if you have a demand for prototyping production, please contact us immediately, you will get the best quality products, and the best service.
