The robot

When it comes to the high-tech used in the Winter Olympics, the help of robots is definitely indispensable. In the "smart restaurant" of the main Media Center of the Winter Olympics, a group of robot "chefs" are working here, and various delicacies such as hamburgers, fries, dumplings, wontons, malatang, Chinese food, and coffee are their specialty dishes. 3DAT, a three-dimensional athlete tracking technology platform
A variety of event presentation methods are also a major technological highlight. 3DAT, a three-dimensional athlete tracking technology platform, was pioneered by Intel and brought advanced artificial intelligence and computer vision motion tracking capabilities from the laboratory to the Winter Olympics. Based on computer vision, 3DAT does not require any sensors, only cameras and servers. From standard video sources, it extracts the key skeletal point information of athletes, the posture, motion trajectory and position information of key parts of the body, and performs 3D reconstruction to generate biomechanical data, then output sports performance analysis, which can be finally delivered to the broadcast port within 20 seconds, greatly enhancing the visual effect of live TV programs.

360°VR technology platform

The 360°VR technology platform can capture the three-dimensional data of the entire sports field and realize 360-degree playback. For example, in basketball, football, baseball and other sports, the broadcast can be made from any Angle, and wonderful freeze frame can be captured, bringing unprecedented immersive watching experience to the audience.
