Mastars has an extensive prototyping process and is capable of mass production.What are the specific functions of spraying in the surface treatment of plastic prototype?

In the process of prototype production, in addition to machining, a large number of techniques or post-processing operations with the help of other instruments may be required in most cases. The appearance treatment of the prototype is one of the operations. The methods of prototype appearance treatment include oil injection, sand blasting, electroplating, oxygenation, radium carving, wire drawing, UV, pad printing, bronzing, polishing, etc.

Air spraying of spraying method

Air spraying is a widely used finishing process. Air spraying uses the air flow of compressed air to flow through the nozzle hole of the spray gun to form a negative pressure. The negative pressure makes the paint inhale from the suction pipe and eject through the nozzle to form a paint mist. The paint mist is sprayed on the surface of the painted parts to form a uniform paint film. Air spraying can produce uniform paint, and the coating is fine and lubricated: the more hidden parts of parts (such as gaps and bumps) can also be sprayed evenly. The coating utilization rate of this method is about 50% - 60%.

What is the role of spraying in prototype surface treatment?

1. Due to the difficulty of coloring the plastic itself, a variety of colors can be obtained by spraying;

2. It can cover the surface defects of the prototype;

3. Improve the electrostatic function of plastics and reduce dust adsorption;

4. The hardness and scratch resistance of plastics are enhanced;

5. The weather resistance of plastics is improved;

6. Make the luster of the plastic part surface be adjusted arbitrarily;

7. Sand grain paint, fluff paint and other special paints can achieve better appearance and feel.

Importance of appearance treatment to prototype

1. The appearance condition of the prototype has a great influence on the appearance quality.

2. The appearance of the prototype after forming must be flat and lubricated, and the force of each part shall be uniform. There shall be no scratch, flash, burr, pit, mottle, bubble and obvious welding line.
