Why make a prototype? This problem has been perplexed by many people. In the process of production and design, the production of prototype is essential. This is mainly determined by the role of the prototype, mainly for the following reasons:

(1) Inspect the appearance design; The prototype is not only visible, but also touchable. As long as the prototype is well done, you can judge whether there is a problem with your design drawings through the prototype.

(2) Check the structural design; Because the prototype can be assembled, it can intuitively reflect the rationality of the structure and the difficulty of installation. It is convenient to find and solve problems as soon as possible.

(3) Reduce R & D costs; Because the cost of mold manufacturing is generally high, and the relatively large mold is worth hundreds of thousands or even millions. If you open the mold rashly in order to save the cost of proofing, in case of unreasonable structure, the time and energy spent in repairing the mold in the later stage will be n times the cost of the prototype. Generally, smart purchasing engineers will first make some prototypes to test whether the product structure and appearance are reasonable, and then open the mold.

(4) Do a good job in early sales; Due to the advanced nature of prototype production, you can use the prototype for product publicity before the mold is developed, participate in exhibitions, receive a large number of orders, complete sales and explore emerging markets.

prototype

Prototype model making can be said to be a process required by most product processing. When the prototype model is just gong out, the aesthetics may not be good, but the aesthetics of the post-processing prototype model will rise to a higher level. Of course, the premise is to choose a good prototype manufacturer.

How does the prototype factory complete the prototype production?

Prototyping is an important link between the R & D department and the appearance and structural feasibility of new products in order to improve the R & D strength. Improving prototyping is an important work for R & D maturity. Due to the high speed and low cost, the product development cost, time and risk are greatly reduced. It can meet the performance test in the process of product development. It has greatly improved the competitiveness of new products. The prototype group can be processed only after the drawing has the structure and the signature of the project leader. Structural personnel shall provide two-dimensional drawings, three-dimensional documents, prototype list and processing agreement.

1、 Responsibilities of the prototype factory:

1. The prototype progress and quality are in the charge of structural personnel.

2. Prototype personnel are responsible for the appearance, accuracy and size of prototype parts.

3. The prototype group is responsible for spraying, and professionals are arranged to be responsible for it.

4. After prototype processing, structural personnel are responsible for assembly according to the design intention.

5. The acceptance of prototype parts shall be determined by the structural personnel (refer to the prototype parts inspection table).
