Volkswagen Germany, the world's leading automobile manufacturer and the world's largest car factory, has more than 60,000 employees and 6,000 robots that keep assembling car parts on the production line every day. Volkswagen produces one million cars of all types every year and sells them all over the world.

automotive

The Volkswagen headquarters, located in Walsenburg, Germany, is a 6.5 square kilometer automobile factory with a very large plant. Robots replace manual workers on the assembly line, producing car parts in never-ending repetitive motions, following drawings and data from computer terminals.

More than 60,000 workers, working in groups on duty, many of whom are busy on the production floor at the same time if a special order comes in, are in full swing.

The assembly line workers of the car are very close to each other, people stand in front of the assembly line machine tools and get busy. VW's work uniforms are almost like team apparel, all red T-shirts, and the manual group work is mainly the electronic equipment part of the car, these lines and each wiring port, the setup is more complicated and needs manual to double check and check, after multiple procedures of double checking, before the final assembly is completed and transferred to the next The next step is to install and debug.

Speaking of the German Volkswagen brand, many people will think of its ace model Beetle, many people have seen the arc-shaped budding Beetle car in the streets, this quite popular with ladies Volkswagen Beetle car, as the German national car brand, from the industrial powerhouse of Germany to the world, VW in the end with what has won the recognition of so many people?

It also starts with Hitler, who was elected Chancellor of Germany in the 1930s. At that time, his election manifesto was to let every family have a car of their own, and the price was not expensive, only 900 marks, people were enthusiastic and excited, but the economic environment in Germany at that time was bad, people were poor, only a few powerful people could afford to use such luxury goods as cars.

Hitler was anxious to expand the scale of automobile production in his homeland, to gradually promote the use of cars, so that the industry can drive more jobs, so that the automobile can promote economic recovery and development.

But this idea is difficult to implement, Hitler and a car designer Ferdinand later hit it off and drew a sketch of the shape of the Beetle, which is later known worldwide as the Beetle.

It had a nearly semi-circular curved appearance, and its cute look was very eye-catching, but many people, except Hitler, did not think much of the car's appearance.

But Hitler insisted that only the unique appearance and excellent quality can make people remember German cars, so the important task of building Germany's national industrial brand, Hitler wanted to use the car to take the lead in completing.

At that moment, the designer Ferdinand, who had a good talk with Hitler, founded Porsche Cars, whose idea was to build German civilian cars, which coincided with Hitler's idea of promoting cars, and was naturally willing to fully support Porsche cars, and yes, this Porsche is the same Porsche that is famous for luxury cars today.

Since he wanted to promote civilian cars, they should look simple and characteristic, Ferdinand took Hitler's sketch of the Beetle and designed the kernel of the car, surprisingly, it only took less than a year to produce a physical car, and because it was a car that wanted civilians to have, it was named Volkswagen, and named Beetle car according to the appearance of the car.

As the lack of high-tech machinery and equipment to process the locomotive technology at the time, the performance of this car and its cute appearance to form a contrast, the total weight of the car is only 650 kg, space to sit down a family, the speed can reach 100 kilometers per hour, and also installed an advanced portable air-cooled machine, in the heat of the summer will not sweat driving, and the price is not too high.

So the German Volkswagen Beetle was launched and attracted a lot of attention. In 1937 Volkswagen was founded and produced nearly 300 of the oldest Beetle cars, but because of the war that soon broke out, Volkswagen was not given to ordinary families as hoped, but turned into a military car production plant.

After that, it was not until the 1950s that Volkswagen began to shift back to civilian car production, and has been using the Beetle car as a representative model. Twenty years later, Volkswagen gradually went global, and the budding Beetle drove to the streets of many countries around the world, and this extremely recognizable car became one of the ace symbols of Volkswagen.

Since then, with the development of technology, new models have been launched, but the popularity of Volkswagen has always been inseparable from the Beetle, and because of the superior quality, the world has recognized the German car brand, and has developed to the world's largest car factory with tens of thousands of workers.

German cars have always insisted on quality and reputation to win customers, so they have a good reputation in the industry. The original German cars are hot models in many countries, and it seems to be able to insist on doing one thing well and pursuing higher standards before stepping out on a wider path of development.
