With over 15 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing and fabrication industry, Mastars has established relationships with a number of automotive companies around the world such as Jaguar and Bentley, with products ranging from interior moldings, grilles, headlights, taillights, machined acrylic or dimensional lamps, lighting and sports.

On November 27th, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), in collaboration with Dow and Adient, announced a significant advancement in the recycling of used polyurethane seat foam.
This breakthrough addresses sustainability challenges in the automotive industry by reintegrating used foam into new seats. Polyurethane foam is valued for its strength and durability, but its recycling has been problematic, often leading to environmental waste.

The new technology utilizes Dow's MobilityScience™ materials to process waste foam, achieving a viable formulation with 20% recycled content. JLR is implementing this material in its vehicle seats, with plans for large-scale pre-production testing next year.
This initiative aims to set a new environmental standard in luxury automotive markets, potentially halving CO2 emissions per seat—equivalent to charging around 3,000 smartphones. This partnership emphasizes a commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable development in the automotive sector.
